Did some work on it and checking out that everythings running good. Got a few inches of snow last nite. Trails were in great shape. Didn’t get any pictures today… so concerned with checking out the SnoHawk and learning how to ride it I forgot to take pictures. Planning on hitting the trails again with the Hawk & Dawn tomorrow.. I’ll remember to take pics this time.. or Dawn will… LOL 3 Responses to “A buzz on the Hawk”Leave a Reply |

Hi- A quick question: Is the bridge on the Iron Horse Trail (at Sugar Bush Lake) open this season–it has been out of commission for a while—-very curious if you have any info on that route—thank you so much! Looks good for the week!

Hi Hiawatha–thanks for the response—it runs from Minocqua to Mercer along(ish) 47—the section that has been closed is between Lac du Flambeau and Mercer, right before Powell Marsh—I am pretty sure it is the Iron Horse (although I have been known to be wrong on occasion
and don’t know the route #….the path had these 5 ft. 2×4 railings dug right into the path at a pretty trech. turn—just curious–Extremely happy to see the snow up there—your site is a gem!
