Ski and Snowboard Show

Everybody in the Chicagoland area, listen up. There’s a huge ski and snowboard show this weekend at the Renaissance Center in Schaumburg. Here’s some information about the event, courtesy of the Ski and Snowboard Show Website:

Friday October 24th - 3pm to 10pm
Saturday October 25th - 10am to 10pm
Sunday October 26th - 10am to 5pm

Admission

Admission’s $10 but well worth it - you get free lift tickets to Devil’s Head (in WI) and Raging Buffalo (in IL) for coming to the show. That’s worth $89 right there.

Who’s Going to Be There?

I am! I live pretty close to there so I’ll be checking it out. They’re going to have over $1 Million in discounted ski and snowboard gear there, so it’s definitely worth checking out. It’s being sponsored by Viking’s Ski Shop, Devil’s Head resort, the Shred Shop, and a bunch of others, but the links on the show’s site are busted, so who knows. There’s actually another link to a sponsors page which seems to work. I’m sure there’ll be plenty of equipment companies and resorts there, so it should be pretty cool. Time to get geared up for the season!
